Some speakers are born; but rest are made! In this highly competitive world of modern education just being first in class and exams are of no use until unless a student is able to express all his knowledge orally to a third person without pause and punctuations. And when it comes to the situation of addressing an audience the situation worsens even more for a student if he or she doesn’t acquire the art of public speaking. Public speaking is an art and that art should be learned using correct shades like that of any other art form. The different colours which make the art of public speaking fabulous are body language, maintaining proper eye-contact with the audience; extricate oneself from the clutches of stage fear, courage, confidence, modesty in dressing, control over the subject etc... Iinorder to achieve the above said qualities, the student’s should be trained from the school level itself so that when they grow up they can become good speakers and can reach the pinnacle of success in their future. As a foundation stone for building the mansion of public speaking art, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Sulthan Bathery started a public speaking forum for all the students who are really interested in the art of public speaking and the first training session was conducted during 2014-2015 summer vacation in the month of May as a one week crash course. From this year onwards the service of Public Speaking Forum will be available for all the students who are interested in public speaking throughout the academic year and also during summer vacation in the month of May
